Bringing our varied beliefs and a mountain of questions, we gather here with great compassion to support each other as we find ways to be better with horses and each other.

Many of us have found this to be a bumpy transition and have felt disconnected from those we considered to be “horse family.”

We questioned this pull in our hearts and wondered if we were soft or crazy.

The horses kept showing us the truth – we weren’t soft or crazy.

We were honest, curious, and compassionate as we deeply questioned how humans are with horses.

Is what we’re doing respectful of the horse as a horse?

Is it in the horse’s best interest?

If I’m hand on heart honest, is the horse freely choosing to participate?

We intend this to be a place where we can ask these questions and find information, compassion and community.
